What is ZPic? |
|
ZPic is a PIC microcontroller that has been programmed to work in conjunction with
a software API running on a host computer. By using ZPic, you can design circuits
that can send data to,
and receive data from custom application software.
ZPic communicates serially (RS-232) with your application through a java API. |

Benefits of using ZPic? |
- Great for rapid
prototyping.
- No need to learn
Assembler.
- No expensive device
programmer needed.
- Uses pure java
API, no script or custom language.
- Upgrade firmware
via API.
|
- Requires simple easy to breadboard circuit.
- Works with most commercially available PIC prototype boards.
- Can communicate at up to 115,200 baud.
- Read and Write to device EEPROM memory.
